Quick Walk

I took a quick walk today using my new Nike+. It needs some serious calibration! I walked .669 and it showed .35. I guess when there isn't snow on the track, I will have to calibrate it better when the track isn't covered with snow. It was pretty cool to try out though.

I don't have much inspiration for today. I haven't done my push-ups, sit-ups or squats yet today. I'm not looking forward to the squats, but I'm sure I'll be alright.

I start classes up again tomorrow. I am taking a math class (UGH), creative arts, educational technology, classroom guidance and management. I only have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.

On Wednesday morning, I have a meeting with the other organizer of the St. Baldrick's event happening in March. I can't believe it is just over 2 months away! I will be shaving my head again this year. Last year, the family raised just around $1,000 and the event just under $7,000 with only 12 days of advertising! This year, we already have the venue shored up, entertainment and five shavees! I am really excited. Here's my site if anyone feels led to donate. I will be plugging this event for the next few months, so get used to it!

  3. Good for you, Mandy. Sounds like you're going to be busy with school - no time for eating. Where are you headed with your education or are they just interests of yours?

  4. I am going into paraprofessional education (which is like a teachers' aid to kids with special needs).
